We are a part-time preschool program for children ages 2-5 years old. ECC opened its doors in 1978 as a ministry of Red Bridge United Methodist Church. Over the last 40 years, our partnership with Red Bridge UMC has grown. Because of this relationship, we are able to provide students with a high quality preschool experience where children can learn in a safe and loving environment. Our philosophy is to promote each child’s God given potential for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth.

Each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher and an aide in accordance with the Safe Gatherings policy of the United Methodist Church. In addition to Safe Gathering training, we also conduct background checks on all of our teachers. Every teacher is certified in CPR and First Aid and participates in 5-10 hours of training around a variety of topics such as child development, classroom management, music, art, movement, etc. We are blessed to have an amazing staff of teachers who are at ECC because they love children and are good at what they do.
